To make Contributed Software available on unix.andrew.cmu.edu and any Linux cluster machine, add
source /afs/club.cc.cmu.edu/contrib/etc/bashrc
to the top of your .bashrc, even above failsafes for non-interactive use.

If your .bash_profile doesn't have
source .bashrc
in it somewhere, or you don't use bash, you'll need to fix that first.
